Young Boy stands up for Woman Being Harassed

Published

on

The girl in the picture above was out jogging, according to her Facebook post, when an older man started catcalling at her in the street. No problem if done tastefully, nothing wrong in my opinion with positive public comments as long as they are respectful and within the realms of polite normal human interaction.

However, when Julia Price didn’t reply to the man’s calls of “Hey Sexy Lady” (not exactly a charmer) he started to get aggressive and shouted at her calling her a b****. Not cool.

Julia removed her headphones and got ready to confront the older man but a young boy called James stepped in to help her.

I was on my usual running path when I heard an older man yelling loudly enough for me to hear through my headphones. “…

According to Julia the boy looked at the guy and said:

Hey. That is not nice to say to her and she didn’t like you yelling at her.”

“You shouldn’t do that because she is a nicegirl and I don’t let anyone say mean things to people. She’s a girl like my sister and I will protect her.”

Nice work kid. Looks like he might be the kind of guy to deliver Justice when he gets a little older.

Good start for now.

Julia Said:

“The man was immediately embarrassed and started gathering his lunch to leave. I asked the mother if I could hug the little boy (his name is James) and I told him how grateful I was for him. He just shrugged and said ‘Well I just wanted to make sure your heart was okay. According to his mother, this is a typical day in the life of James.”

A little gooey, but whatever. James sounds like he might be featuring on JusticeCrunch again in a few years.

Germany Will Fine People Who Obscure Their Face While Driving

Published

on

The German parliament has ruled that drivers are not allowed to wear anything to cover their face while driving. While the Bundesrat claims the measure is for safety and security, many are interpreting it as a move against burqas.

The burqa is a garment worn by women in some Islamic traditions to cover their face and bodies while they’re in public. Anyone who proceeds to wear anything to cover their face while driving will be fined €60 (£53).

The move has angered some within the German Islamic community, with Nurhan Soykan, of the country’s Central Council of Muslims, told Deutsche Welle: “Proof of this is the fact that laws are being passed in areas that don’t need to be regulated. We know of no case in which a burqa or niqab wearer caused an accident that can be linked to wearing a full-body veil.”

The new regulation allows police to ensure they can identify the driver if they’re caught speeding or in violation of other rules.

Germany’s Transport Ministry stated: “The rule of law requires that only drivers can be held accountable. That presumes that they can be identified.”

While the European country hasn’t directly targeted burqas this time, it has signalled support for preventing women from wearing them in other areas. In April, the Parliament approved a draft law banning full-faced veils in the civil service, judiciary and military.

Thomas de Maiziere, Germany’s Interior Minister, said: “Integration also means that we should make clear and impart our values and where the boundaries of our tolerance towards other cultures lie. The draft law we have agreed on makes an important contribution to that.”

At least half of Germany’s 16 states have ruled that teachers aren’t allowed to even wear headscarves. Chancellor Angela Merkel said last year that she would like to outlaw the full-faced veil, telling delegates in Essen: “The full-face veil is not acceptable in our country. It should be banned, wherever it is legally possible.”

Germany is not the only one country trying to bann face vails. There have been similar moves made around the continent, with France becoming the first country to outlaw the full face covering in 2011.

The ruling prohibited anyone from leaving their home with their face hidden behind a veil. France was followed by Belgium a few months later, which included a law that prevented anyone from obscuring their face in public places like a school or park.

Pablo Escobar’s Brother Sues Netflix!

Published

on

After the death of location scout Carlos Munoz Portal, Pablo Escobar’s brother, Robert De Jesus Escobar Gaviria told Netflix they should hire hitmen for security.

Portal was shot in a rural area close to Mexico City on September 11 while looking for filming locations.

Robert is also demanding Netflix to pay his company a billion dollars for using his brother name without any permission.

He told the Hollywood Reporter that:

Netflix are scared. They sent us a long letter to threaten us.

Right now, we are in discussions with them through our attorneys Browne George Ross LLP to obtain our $1 billion payment. If we don’t receive it, we will close their little show.

You see, we own all the trademarks to all of our names and also for the Narcosbrand. I don’t play around with these people in Silicon Valley.

They have their phones and nice products. But they don’t know life and would never dare to survive in the jungle of Medellin or Colombia. I have done that.

Their mothers should have left them in the womb. That is what we tell people like this if they come to Colombia.

Netflix’s Response

We’re intrigued by the response Netflix may give, but it is certainly some big drama going on.

Olof Gustafsson, the CEO of Escobar Inc., also spoke to The Hollywood Reporter on more details about why they are suing Netflix.

At first, they refused to acknowledge us. After we registered all the trademarks and we’ve been granted some of them, they sent us a cease-and-desist letter.

After that our attorneys and their attorneys have come to an agreement that basically they need to pay us something. Now it’s a matter of determining how much that something is.

At the end of the day, if we don’t take a deal, then we own the trademarks. They would have to rebrand their entire show. They know this. This is why they’re talking to us.

Otherwise they would never entertain any discussions with a drug cartel family.

Filming the show has now become dangerous, however, is a very successful show, so they won’t stop there.

Conor McGregor to Fight Against Nate Diaz

Published

on

Another big fight may come as a reality, McGregor vs Diaz.

Last year Conor McGregor met Nate Diaz at UFC 196 and the american fighter won by submission with 48 seconds left in the second round.

Five months later at UFC 202, people are wondering who will be McGregor’s next opponent?

Conor McGregor’s Next Fight

Following his defeat to Floyd Mayweather in the boxing ring, McGregor’s manager Audie Attar told MMAjunkie that Diaz is wanted by McGregor:

“He wants that triology,” Attar said, before confirming all the other options on the table.

“You’ve got Khabib calling him out, then you obviously have Tony Ferguson and Kevin Lee who are fighting for the interim lightweight title.

“You have Max Holloway, who is the 145 champ now, who Conor beat after blowing out his ACL at the beginning of the fight. You have options, and he loves mixed martial arts.

“Everyone is like, ‘oh he’s going to retire – he made so much money’. He’s ambitious. He’s super ambitious, and he loves to fight.

“He loves to compete and he’s a superb professional athlete. So, there’s much more Conor McGregor that everybody will see, and we’ll see what’s next.”

The fight seems to be coming, and already one might ask, who will win?
